Willkie advised The Mission Continues on a pro bono basis in connection with its strategic merger with Travis Manion Foundation. Effective September 2, 2025, these leading veteran service organizations joined forces to advance their shared mission of empowering veterans to lead, serve, and strengthen communities nationwide.
The combined nonprofit, operating under the Travis Manion Foundation umbrella, is positioned to deliver lasting impact as one of the largest veteran service organizations in America. With a presence in nearly 70 communities nationwide, the merged organization will expand opportunities for veterans to connect, serve in meaningful ways, and access proactive mental health and well-being support.
The Willkie pro bono team included partners Susan Rabinowitz and Weston Eguchi, counsel Nicole Ostrowski, and associates Nicholas Chanin, Patrais Strzelecki and Erik Lessler, joined by partners Sarah Haddy and Scott Thompson and counsel Kathiana Aurelien.
