Synergy by Association Welcomes Three New Board Members

The Oregon Bankers Association's (OBA) wholly owned subsidiary, Synergy by Association, Inc., is pleased to welcome Tina DeCamp, Becky Kindle, and Ben Mansheim to its Board of Directors. The three new directors represent a broad range of experience across community banking, regional banking, operations, sales, and fintech.

Becky Kindle has spent more than 25 years with Bank of Eastern Oregon, building broad experience across bank operations, branch management, and administration. She has served as operations support manager, branch administrator and chief banking officer before being named chief operations officer in 2021. A graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, Kindle is active in the Oregon banking community, serving on the OBA Education Foundation Board of Directors, OBA's Bank Operations Roundtable, Financial Institutions Security Task Force, and Synergy Partner Advisory Committee. She also serves as chair of the Morrow County School Board, where she has been a member for 17 years. Her deep understanding of bank operations and the needs of community banks will bring valuable perspective to Synergy's work with endorsed partners and programs.

Tina DeCamp is senior vice president and division sales manager at WaFd Bank, where she leads her division with a focus on building strong, thriving communities. During 40 years with WaFd, DeCamp has held every branch position, overseen as many as 18 branches, and led multiple departments, as well as played a key role in opening branches across the region. Her experience working within a large regional bank, combined with her frontline sales and leadership perspective, will provide valuable insight as Synergy expands its programs and relationships. In 2025, DeCamp earned a graduate-level Certificate in the Business of Banking and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Pacific Coast Banking School.

Ben Mansheim is director of fintech partnerships at 1st Security Bank, where he leads the bank's Banking-as-a-Service division. With more than 20 years of community banking experience throughout the Pacific Northwest, Mansheim has held leadership roles spanning lending, deposit operations, compliance, information technology, and AML/CFT (anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism). His experience at the intersection of banking, technology, and fintech will bring valuable perspective as Synergy evaluates new partnership opportunities and explores innovative ways to serve member banks. Mansheim also serves on the OBA's Bank Operations and Compliance Roundtables, Financial Institutions Security Task Force, and Synergy Partner Advisory Committee.

"We are thrilled to welcome Becky, Tina, and Ben to the Synergy board," said Scott Bruun, president and CEO of the Oregon Bankers Association and Synergy by Association. "Their combined experience gives us valuable perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing banks today. I'm confident their insight will help Synergy continue to develop strong partnerships and programs that deliver meaningful value to member banks."

Synergy also recognizes the contributions of outgoing board members Jeff Bailey, president and CEO of Bank of Eastern Oregon, and Terri McKinnis, EVP and chief operating officer of Bank of the Pacific, now a division of Banner Bank. Bailey has served on the Synergy Board since 2018, while McKinnis joined the board in 2024. Synergy thanks both for their leadership, expertise, and commitment to advancing the organization's work on behalf of Oregon banks.
