Honoring Those Who Served

On Veterans Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have worn our nation's uniform and stood ready to defend our freedoms. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to America are the reason we enjoy the liberties we too often take for granted.

To our veterans, and to the families who stood beside them, thank you. Your service will never be forgotten, your sacrifices will never be taken for granted, and our nation owes you a debt that can never fully be repaid.

God bless our veterans, and God bless the United States of America.

District Spotlight: Honoring our Veterans

Speaking of veterans, this week I was proud to join Surprise Mayor Kevin Sartor, local veterans and service members at Glendale Community College for Veterans Appreciation Day. Events like this are a reminder of the strong sense of community and patriotism that define our district. Across Arizona's Ninth Congressional District, veterans and military families are an important part of the fabric of our communities. Their sacrifices have helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy, and they deserve more than our gratitude-they deserve our continued support. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and, above all, to the brave men and women who have served our nation. It is an honor to represent you in Congress.

To the People of Arizona's Ninth Congressional District: Thank You!

I am deeply humbled and grateful for the overwhelming confidence you have placed in me once again to represent you in the United States Congress. Serving the people of Western Arizona is an honor I never take for granted, and I am thankful to everyone who took the time to participate in this election and make their voices heard.

Whether you voted for me, supported another candidate, or chose not to cast a ballot, I want you to know that I will continue working for you. My responsibility is not to represent just those who agree with me. It is to serve everyone in this district. Thank you for your trust, your support, and the privilege of serving you.

Gosar Recognized for Fighting for Arizona's Freedom and Prosperity

I was honored this week to receive the 2026 Pioneer for Prosperity Award from Americans for Prosperity-Arizona. This recognition reflects my unwavering commitment to defending the freedoms and opportunities that make Arizona great. From protecting individual liberty and limiting government overreach to advancing policies that support Arizona families, empower our workers, and help our small businesses thrive, I will continue fighting to keep Arizona a place where hard work is rewarded, freedom is protected, and opportunity is available to all. Thank you to AFP-Arizona for this recognition and for standing alongside those fighting for a freer, stronger, and more prosperous Arizona.

Ensuring the Census is Accurate

I recently joined several of my House colleagues in sending a letter to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick supporting reforms to the Census Bureau's proposed rules for the 2030 Census. The Census exists to count Americans accurately and ensure fair congressional representation-not to allow foreign nationals to distort the apportionment of political power. Our letter supports limiting congressional apportionment counts to U.S. citizens, restoring a citizenship question, and removing unnecessary demographic questions that burden respondents and raise privacy concerns. The principle is simple: American representation should reflect American citizens. As we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary, it is time to put Americans first and ensure our Census serves its constitutional purpose.

Breaking: Jobs Boom - Economy Beats Expectations!

The American economy is showing impressive strength. The latest jobs report released on Friday reveals that the United States added 165,000 jobs in October, nearly three times the 59,000 economists expected. Unemployment also fell to 4.1%, while hiring gains extended across professional services, health care, and manufacturing.

American workers are seeing the benefits, too, with average hourly earnings rising 3.1% over the past year. These numbers are encouraging evidence that our economy continues to move in the right direction. We must keep building on this momentum by putting American workers first, unleashing domestic energy production, strengthening American manufacturing, and getting government out of the way. A strong economy starts with putting America first!

And Finally… Welcome to Arizona. Learn the Lingo!

If you're new to Arizona, you might want to brush up on your vocabulary before striking up a conversation with the locals. A new list of 14 Arizona slang terms highlights some of the expressions that make our state unique. We have snowbirds who escape the cold, the Ten (I-10), and the Big Ditch-an affectionate nickname for our very own Grand Canyon. Tucson even has stravenues, diagonal roads that combine streets and avenues. And when monsoon season rolls around, don't be surprised if someone warns you about a haboob-one of those enormous walls of dust that can turn a sunny afternoon into something resembling a scene from an action movie. Around here, we have our own language, and if you don't know the lingo, you might just be lost before you even hit the highway!
