UW Hosts Rangelands Partnership This Week

University of Wyoming Libraries and the College of Agriculture, Life Sciences and Natural Resources have teamed up to host the annual Rangelands Partnership meeting Monday-Thursday, May 18-21.

About 30 range scientists and librarians from nearly every land-grant university west of the Missouri River will meet at UW to discuss current research and issues involving America's rangelands. Events will initially take place at the Hilton Garden Inn before moving to Coe Library Tuesday, followed by the Laramie Research and Extension Center (LREC) Wednesday. The meeting will conclude Thursday with a field trip to LREC's McGuire Ranch.

The Rangelands Partnership is a multistate organization funded by a Western Education/Extension and Research Activity grant under the U.S. Department of Agriculture. UW is the fifth land-grant university to host the Rangelands Partnership since the COVID pandemic, following Texas A&M, the University of Hawaii, Kansas State University and Colorado State University.
