West Chester, Ohio (October 20, 2026) - Whole Foods Market will open a new 40,000-square-foot store, located at 8310 Liberty Way in West Chester, on November 18, 2026. The store will open at 9:00 a.m. on opening day, and regular store hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily. This is a relocation of the existing Mason store which has served the local community since 2007, and the store will be led by Store Team Leader Rachel Abrams.
The new location's product assortment features more than 300 local items from Ohio and neighboring states, sourced with the help of Lillian Huber, Forager for Local & Emerging Brands at Whole Foods Market.
Features of the new West Chester store include:
Opening morning, customers will enjoy coffee from Deeper Roots Coffee, samples from local suppliers, and samples from national suppliers throughout the store, including cold pressed juices from Urban Remedy. The first 300 customers in line will receive a limited-edition Liberty tote bag made from recycled textiles from Amazon customer returns and a Secret Saver coupon featuring savings up to $100 off.
In celebration of the opening, Whole Foods Market is providing a food donation to La Soupe, which makes regular surplus food pickups from local Whole Foods Market stores to help prevent food waste and serve the surrounding community. The nonprofit previously received a refrigerated van through Whole Foods Market's Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program, which aims to enhance the ability of local food rescue organizations to transport surplus food to areas facing the greatest need. Whole Foods Market will also provide a monetary donation to La Soupe.
All food at Whole Foods Market must meet the company's rigorous quality standards, which prohibit hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup, and more than 300 flavors, colors, sweeteners, and other ingredients commonly found in food. In addition, all beauty and body care products must meet the company's body care standards, which ban more than 240 commonly used ingredients, including phthalates, parabens, and microbeads.
Prime members who shop at Whole Foods Market have access to a number of benefits year-round, including deep discounts on select popular products each week and an additional 10% off hundreds of in-store sale items.
