Ready to fast-track your engineering career? Here are 10 skills to help you do it.

If you graduated with a degree in engineering, you entered the workforce with robust technical skills and a passion for solving problems - problems that sometimes require learning new skills and bridging into new concepts.

Once graduates leave academia and enter the workforce, a realization often sets in: Roles, careers and skills are no longer siloed. Instead, industry is complex and interdisciplinary. Early career engineers can find themselves navigating concepts that were seldom taught in their classes, such as finance, supply chain and artificial intelligence.

Bridge to Business for Engineers is a six-day professional development program designed to bridge this skill gap, equipping early career engineers with the business fundamentals they need to be successful. Designed with input from Marquette's Opus College of Engineering and corporate partners, topics have been vetted and refined to ensure skills are transferable and applicable from day one.
