CENTRALIA, IL - State Representative Charlie Meier (R-Okawville) is voicing support for the workers of Warren G Murray Center in Centralia who are taking a stand against poor leadership and lack of accountability within the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS). Today, workers took a stand and picketed in front of the facility.
"These workers know better than anyone about the disastrous leadership at DHS," said Rep. Charlie Meier. "The questionable leadership choices have led to chaos. I agree with the workers - DHS needs to be held accountable, and I hope this gets the attention of leadership and Governor Pritzker."
