At about 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 20, Columbia Police responded to a collision involving a bicyclist and a dump truck at the intersection of Range Line Street and East Business Loop 70.
The driver of the dump truck was turning north from East Business Loop 70 onto Range Line Street when he struck bicyclist Roger Bone, 56, of Jefferson City.
Police officers and EMS gave emergency medical care to Bone, who died at the scene of the collision. Next of kin have been notified. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
