Statement on North Runway Incident

(HONG KONG, 8 September 2025, 1230hrs) - At 1036hrs, HK Express flight UO235 which landed on the North Runway was suspected to have hit signage boards on the side of Runway while taxiing. The aircraft later stopped on the taxiway. The flight, with 137 passengers and crew members on board, arrived from Beijing Daxing International Airport. There is no injury reported.

Inspection is now conducted on the aircraft. All passengers have disembarked. The North Runway has been reopened at 1215hrs after inspection.
