PODCAST: Beyond the Bell highlights UW-Stout STEAM Summer Camps

A new episode of "Beyond the Bell," a podcast of the Wisconsin Out of School Time Alliance, explores UW-Stout's hands-on Middle School and High School Summer STEAM Camps, where students in grades 6-12 dive into science, technology, engineering, art/design, and math in real labs and studios at Wisconsin's Polytechnic University.

Beth Hein, UW-Stout's executive director of Educational Pathways and Outreach, shares with host Jill Niemczyk how these programs spark curiosity, build confidence and connect youth with engaging mentors and creative learning experiences - helping families and out-of-school-time programs understand what makes these summer opportunities so impactful.

Wisconsin Out of School Time Alliance, the state's leading organization for out-of-school programs and youth organizations, is a program of Marshfield Clinic Sanford Health. Learn more about WOSTA online at wiafterschoolnetwork.org.
