Alison Elko Franklin Appointed U.S. Regional Co-Director for IWIRC Board of Directors

ATLANTA - Jan. 23, 2026 - Alison Elko Franklin, a shareholder with the global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been appointed to the 2026 board of directors of the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). Effective Jan. 1, Franklin serves as the United States regional co-director.

IWIRC is the premier global networking organization for women in the restructuring and insolvency profession, connecting more than 2,400 attorneys, bankers, financial advisors, turnaround specialists, and other practitioners across 58+ networks on six continents.

A longstanding and active IWIRC leader, Franklin previously served as the co-chair of the Georgia Network during the year it received the Ryan Award for Outstanding Network and hosted the IWIRC Leadership Summit. She also has been recognized as a Rising Star Finalist. Most recently, she served on the Management Committee as vice director of programs.

Her appointment reflects both her professional accomplishments and her ongoing commitment to advancing IWIRC's mission of promoting the success of women in restructuring and insolvency.

Franklin is part of Greenberg Traurig's Restructuring & Special Situations Practice in the Atlanta office.
