Minister Budrys took part in the Foreign Investors Annual Summit

On 26 September, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Kęstutis Budrys attended the Foreign Investors Annual Summit 2025 organised by the American Chamber of Commerce.

At the event, the head of Lithuania's diplomacy presented the foreign policy priorities of the newly sworn-in 20th Government.

"The most important message for investors is the continuity of Lithuania's foreign and security policy. This signifies the security of the State of Lithuania, based on a strong commitment to the NATO Alliance, collective defence, economic and energy resilience, support for Ukraine, and the preservation of an order based on international law," stressed Budrys.

According to the Minister, the foundation of the security of Lithuania and the whole of Europe is laid today in Ukraine. Therefore, support for this country is one of the key priorities of Lithuania's foreign policy.

Budrys also emphasized that the preservation of the international order based on the norms and values of international law was particularly important for Lithuania. "State sovereignty and territorial integrity are foundational principles that must not be allowed to be undermined," the Minister said.

In his speech, Budrys also talked about the business environment in Lithuania. According to the Minister, despite geopolitical challenges, Lithuania remains a reliable investment destination with highly skilled talent, innovation potential, and a stable macroeconomic environment.

The annual Foreign Investors Annual Summit 2025 brought together more than 700 representatives of the Lithuanian and international business community, policy makers, and experts to discuss economic growth, improving the investment environment, and cooperation between the public and private sectors.
