TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Cherokee Nation is currently seeking artwork to be displayed at the Cherokee Immersion Middle School in Tahlequah and Catoosa Child Development Center.
Submissions will be accepted from only Cherokee Nation citizens who can provide identification.
The Cherokee Immersion Middle school instructs children in grades four through eight entirely in the Cherokee language to promote fluency and cultural connection. Original artwork is being sought to be displayed on the walls of the facility. Artwork may be related to but is not limited to the following:
Those interested must submit their bids no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026.
The newly constructed Catoosa Child Development Center is a one-story facility that includes 10 classrooms for children ages 0-3. Original artwork is being sought to be displayed on the walls of the facility and may be related to but is not limited to the following:
Bids for the center must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.
All bids for both facilities should include proposed artwork, medium, dimensions and price. Both flat art and 3D art will be considered if the art is frameable.
