The Charlotte Business Journal honored Michael J. Alkire, President and CEO of Premier, Inc., in its 2025 Health Care Heroes Awards. Winning in the Support Services Executive/Organization category, Alkire leads the continued integration of the company's clinical, financial, supply chain and operational performance improvement offerings. He oversees Premier's quality, safety, labor and supply chain technology apps and data-driven collaboratives, allowing alliance members to make decisions based on a combination of healthcare information.
