Rep. John McGuire Responds to Dr. Anthony Fauci Dodging Questions About COVID-19 in Senate Hearing

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In response to Dr. Anthony Fauci repeatedly dodging questions about COVID-19 during a Senate hearing, Rep. John McGuire (VA-05), issued the following statement.

"For months, Americans were ordered to stay locked in their homes, avoid family and friends, and isolate from a virus that, for the vast majority of healthy, younger people, carried a risk profile closer to a severe seasonal flu," said Rep. John McGuire (VA-05). "More than 1.2 million Americans died from COVID-19. Yet far too many were lied to, manipulated, and coerced into taking a vaccine in order to keep their jobs or the ability to travel, including nearly 8,700 members of our military who were forced out of service for refusing the shot. The mixed messaging was absurd and unscientific: you could shop at a liquor store but not attend church; standing put you at risk, but sitting down for dinner made you safe. It was medical tyranny. Dr. Anthony Fauci is hiding behind a fake autopen pardon and should be held accountable. Thank God my family and I refused the shot. The lasting damage is real. Public trust in our scientific institutions, elected leaders, and the medical establishment has been shattered. Those responsible must be held accountable. The American people deserve full transparency and honest answers."
