Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Ma Shengkun Meets with Viktor Kiktenko, President of the Ukrainian Association of Sinologists

On April 7, Ambassador Ma Shengkun met with Viktor Kiktenko, Acting Director of the A. Yu. Krymsky Institute of Oriental Studies at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and President of the Ukrainian Association of Sinologists. 

Ambassador Ma spoke highly of the work of the Ukrainian Association of Sinologists and noted that the association has long been committed to upholding the tradition of friendship between China and Ukraine and helping the Ukrainian people gain a better understanding of China. He expressed his hope that the association would continue to leverage its professional expertise to promote people-to-people exchanges between the two countries and bring more positive energy into China-Ukraine friendly relations.

Kiktenko stated that he is willing to continue communicating and coordinating with the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine and will strive to play a greater role in promoting friendly cooperation between the two countries.
