Discover Boating Chicago and Louisville Shows Open Today

The Discover Boating Chicago Boat Show®, in partnership with Progressive®, and the Discover Boating Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow®, in partnership with Progressive®, open today, continuing momentum across the 2026 winter boat show season as both events prepare to welcome thousands of attendees and boat buyers.

Now in its second year at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., the Chicago Boat Show features an expanded footprint with more boats, brands, and onsite experiences. New this year, the Opening Night Social offers a happy-hour-style atmosphere designed to encourage weeknight attendance and provide additional engagement opportunities for exhibitors and attendees. Other activities include the favorite kids' trout fishing pond and paddle sports pool, daily seminars, and a special Saturday-only "Boatgating" event featuring appearances by Chicago football legends Charles "Peanut" Tillman, Israel "Izzy" Idonije, and Jerry Azumah.

Opening this evening at the Kentucky Exposition Center, the Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow will showcase hundreds of new boat and RV models and thousands of outdoors accessories. New activations this year are designed to immerse attendees in outdoor recreation, including archery demonstrations and a stingray touch tank, plus returning attendee-favorites for all ages.
