On Friday, September 12th, a traffic signal on Manuel T. Freitas Parkway and Northgate Drive was knocked down due to a two-vehicle collision.
The City has installed temporary stop signs and changed traffic signals to flashing red while long-term repairs are made.
We anticipate the full repair to take three to four weeks, and the construction process has already begun.
The signal is currently flashing red in the intersection for the safety of road users' since an overhead traffic signal is missing.
With further temporary fixes, the signal will return to normal operation by Monday, September 22nd while we complete the final repairs.
We apologize for the traffic impacts that this incident has caused, and are working as quickly as possible to make repairs.
