One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week

Mariposa County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-132, & SR-140 in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control from Tiptop-Usona Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for utility work on Tuesday, June 9, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, one-way traffic control from Miller Road to South State Route 140 for electrical work beginning Sunday, June 7, through Friday, June 12, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Intermittent highway closures (traffic breaks) from Bagby Vista Point to Shilling Road for utility work beginning Monday, June 8, through Wednesday, June 10, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Penon Blanco Road to Shilling Road for traffic signal work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 132

  • One-way traffic control just west of State Route 49/Coulterville for drainage work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

State Route 140

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control from Miller Road to Fourth Street for electrical work beginning Sunday, June 7, through Thursday, June 11, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, June 8, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from South Incline Road to Foresta Road for construction beginning Tuesday, June 9, through Wednesday, June 10, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
