Lee's Summit License Office Transitions to New Contractor and Location…

JEFFERSON CITY, MO - The Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR) has accepted a new management proposal for Lee's Summit License Office. The contract has been awarded to James R Williams, LLC.

The license office, located at 316 SW Blue Parkway, will close at the end of business on Monday, November 10, and reopen on Monday, November 17, at the new location of 314 SW Parkway. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM. Phone: (816) 944-4000.

While the office is closed for transition, DOR encourages customers to visit one of the following nearby locations to receive assistance with their motor vehicle and driver licensing needs:

• Independence License Office - 17601 E US Highway 40

• Blue Springs License Office - 2402 SW State Route 7

• Grandview License Office - 1102 Main Street

All Missouri license office contracts are awarded through a competitive bid process. License offices are operated by independent contractors but governed by the Missouri Department of Revenue.
