"SUN FLAIR"
UNVEILING SUNNYVALE'S SUN SCULPTURES

Join us for the first and only time to see all 26 sun sculptures in one place.

WHEN: 10 - 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8

WHERE: 725 Kifer Road, Sunnyvale

ACTIVITIES:
• Join Mayor Larry Klein as we unveil the suns for the first time
• Meet some of the artists and learn about their inspiration
• Get commemorative stickers and postcards
• Decorate your own sun coloring page at a children's art station
• Take a selfie with your favorite sun
• Enjoy light refreshments

PARKING: Street and lot parking is available

BACKGROUND: "Sun Flair" - Sunnyvale's latest public art installation - features 26
sun sculptures all uniquely decorated by Bay Area artists. Nine artists are from
Sunnyvale. Each sculpture stands six feet tall and is four feet in diameter. The suns will
be installed at City parks throughout Sunnyvale in February.
