CLAY COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting the following lane and ramp closures for the replacement and rehabilitation of the Interstate 29 bridges over northbound/southbound U.S. 169 highway. Detour information for these closures is listed below. All work is weather permitting.
The following lane and ramp closures will be in place Fri., Feb. 13 at 7 PM until Mon., Feb. 16 at 5 AM
NB 169 traffic will use NB I-29 or NB US 69
The following lane and ramp closures will be in place beginning at 5 AM on Feb. 13 until May 19 The NB I-29 traffic will be detoured onto NB US 169 to WB MO 152
This work is a part of a larger project to rehabilitate and replace the I-29 bridges over NB/SB US-169. Public involvement for this project took place in September of 2025. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
