Port Clinton City Schools Registration for 2026-27 Kindergarten Feb 1 - Mar 18!

Bataan Memorial Primary is ready to welcome a new class of kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. Registration will be taking place starting Feb 1 for the March 26 Kindergarten Kick-off event. Port Clinton Schools are looking for any child who will be 5 years old by August 24, 2026 so they can be registered for the Kindergarten Kick Off event. The event will be held on Thu, Mar 26, 2026 in the evening and is required for any child attending kindergarten next year. Students and parents will see first hand the state-of-the-art classrooms, numerous arts and educational programs, Makers Space area, meet the staff and learn everything about kindergarten including small class sizes. Bataan kindergarten has small class sizes and an outstanding emphasis on literacy education. Bataan Primary reading and literacy curriculum includes additional specialized reading instructors with state and national Science of Reading recognition.

Open Enrollment is available for families that reside outside the Port Clinton School District boundaries. Information for screening the first week of school will be given at the Kick Off event.
