Baruch is consistently recognized in national rankings for its academic excellence, access, and student outcomes.
Baruch once again earns national recognition-ranking as the #1 public institution for Washington Monthly's "Best Bang for the Buck" list.
More than 1,400 colleges across the U.S. were evaluated on access, affordability, outcomes, and service to measure "how well they help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices." In the Northeast, Baruch placed #4 among the 369 "Best Bang for the Buck" public and private colleges on the regional list.
Baruch College has consistently made the "Best Bang for the Buck" list since Washington Monthly launched the ranking in 2013 based on economic value students received per tuition dollars.
The College has long stood for opportunity and academic excellence and this latest top ranking underscores its national reputation: Baruch delivers an elite-level education-without the expensive price tag.
Washington Monthly pointed to Baruch's net price-slightly above $2,300-for students on federal Pell Grants who come from low-to-middle-income families. It also noted that what truly sets Baruch apart is its diverse student body-hailing from more than 150 countries and speaking more than 100 languages-who receive in return: top-tier faculty, real-world career preparation, and a gateway to some of the highest-paying jobs in finance, business, and public service.
Baruch consistently earns top honors for value as it aims to be a national model for access and academic excellence. In the last few months, notable recognitions include:
