Cenco Malls Announces Change in the Chair of its Board of Directors
Santiago, Chile, April 23, 2026 - Cencosud Shopping S.A. (BCS: CENCOMALLS, "Cenco Malls", the "Company") announced today that Manfred Paulmann Koepfer has submitted his resignation as Chairman of the Board of Directors, while continuing to serve as a member of the Board.
During his tenure as Chairman, Mr. Paulmann oversaw a period of consolidation and strategic advancement for Cenco Malls, promoting a long-term vision for the commercial real estate business, strengthening the portfolio, and fostering a disciplined approach to innovation focused on value creation.
The Company's Board of Directors has appointed Jaime Soler as the new Chairman of the Board. Mr. Soler, who currently serves as a director, brings extensive professional experience and deep knowledge of the real estate business and the assets that comprise Cenco Malls' regional platform.
Commenting on this transition, Mr. Paulmann stated, "It has been a privilege to chair the Board of Directors of Cenco Malls during a period of significant development for the Company. I step down from the Chairmanship confident in the strength of our strategy and in the Board and management team's ability to continue executing with long-term focus, discipline, and adaptability".
Mr. Soler commented, "I assume the Chairmanship with a focus on ensuring continuity and supporting management in the execution of the Company's strategy. We will continue to strengthen our portfolio, capture growth opportunities, and manage our assets with a long-term perspective, leveraging technology, data and advanced analytics, including artificial intelligence, to drive efficiency and further enhance the customer experience".
The Board of Directors thanked Mr. Paulmann for his leadership and contribution during his tenure as Chairman and reaffirmed its commitment to strategic continuity and the Company's sustainable development.
