State Route 4 - Ramp Closures
Ramp Closures At Filbert Street In Stockton

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4)/Crosstown Freeway for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Filbert Street to westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for soundwall work beginning Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Route 132 To Sacramento County Line

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full connector ramp closures from southbound I-5 to SR-132 for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 7, through Friday, September 12, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, various alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Lathrop Road to SR-4/Charter Way for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 7, through Thursday, September 11, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (southbound.)
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, September 7, through Saturday, September 13, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, September 7, through Saturday, September 13, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. Mokelumne River Bridge Inspection In San Joaquin Delta

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 12 (SR-12) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control on SR-12 at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Sacramento/San Joaquin County line) for bridge inspection on Tuesday, September 9, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 26 - Lane Closures
Electrical Work On Sr-26/Fremont Street In Stockton And Linden

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 26 (SR-26) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Alternating lane closures on SR-26/Fremont Street at Shaw Road/Lillian Avenue for electrical work beginning Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control on SR-26 at Darrigo Lane, Jack Tone Road and Flood Road/Front Street for electrical work beginning Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 99 - Overcrossing Closure
Long-Term Closure At Calaveras River For Repairs

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Long term full closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge repair work. Estimated completion date is September 2025. Please seek alternate route.

State Route 132 - Lane Closures
Overnight Lane Closures In Vernalis For Electrical Work

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 132 (SR-132) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control on SR-132 at SR-33 for electrical work beginning Monday, September 8, through Thursday, September 11, from 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.

Interstate 580 - Ramp Closures
Closures At Patterson Pass Road For Construction

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on eastbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction work beginning Sunday, September 7, through Friday, September 12, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on westbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction work beginning Sunday, September 7, through Friday, September 12, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
