The City of Miami Police Department is preparing for an upcoming Police Officer - Probationary recruitment. Certified and (Non) Certified applicants can apply. While the official recruitment date has not yet been determined, we encourage all interested applicants to take the following steps to ensure they are ready once the application process begins:

1. Complete a Job Interest Card - Sign up to be notified via email when the recruitment officially opens.
2. Update Your Government Jobs Profile - Make sure your application information, contact details, attached documents, and work history are current.
3. Gather required documents to upload to application: Proof of Education, Driver License, proof of Citizenship.
4. Review the "How to Become a Police Officer" Page - Familiarize yourself with the hiring process, minimum qualifications, physical requirements and preparation tips.
5. Stay connected and get the latest updates-including hiring information-by following the Miami Police Department on social media: Instagram @mpdpolice and X @MiamiPD.
