Prime Minister of Timor-Leste Receives Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political-Security Community

Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, H.E. Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, received the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), H.E. Dato' Astanah Abdul Aziz, today during her visit to Dili.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on Timor-Leste's continued integration into ASEAN following its admission as ASEAN's 11th Member State, including its contribution to the work of the APSC pillar and the implementation of ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future. DSG Dato' Astanah reaffirmed the ASEAN Secretariat's continued support for Timor-Leste's effective participation and efforts to support ASEAN Community-building.
