Jacob describes these patterns as OCD's "tricks and traps." The book uses exercises, worksheets and cognitive behavioral strategies to help children recognize thinking traps, resist compulsions and build confidence. The goal is simple: help children understand OCD so they can respond to it differently.

"We are pleased to bring this event to our community," said Palm Beach County Library System Director Douglas Crane. "We aim to support parents and caregivers by connecting them with the information, resources and experts who can make a difference in the lives of children and families."
