Taney County - A project to rehabilitate two (2) bridges in Branson is scheduled to begin the week of September 15, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
These are the bridges and work that will be done:

Branson Landing Boulevard over Lake Taneycomo in Branson

What: Resurfacing bridge deck/driving surface, permanent lane striping

When: Monday-Tuesday, September 15-16

Traffic Impacts:

All Branson Landing Boulevard lanes CLOSED around the clock

No signed detours
-
Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone

Drivers urged to find alternate routes

Missouri Route 76/Business 65 over Lake Taneycomo in Branson

What: Structure repair, joint replacement and resurfacing bridge, deck/driving surface, permanent lane striping

When: Wednesday, September 17 through mid-November

Traffic Impacts:

For approximately the first 30 days, the contractor will be working under the bridge from the camping area with little to no impact to traffic

Beginning approximately October 17, after initial phase of work is complete, all lanes of Route 76/Business 65 bridge will be CLOSED until mid-November

Drivers will be directed along a signed detour on U.S. Route 65 and Business 65
-
Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone

Drivers urged to find alternate routes
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
