Massa, DeBuiser Launch Healthcare Capital Markets Practice at Foundry Commercial

Nashville, Tenn. and Thousand Oaks, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2026) - Foundry Commercial is expanding its Investment Advisory Group (IAG) with the addition of Joe Massa and James DeBuiser, two experienced investment sales professionals who will launch the firm's Healthcare Capital Markets practice. Both join Foundry as Senior Vice Presidents, with Massa based in Nashville and DeBuiser based in Southern California.

Massa and DeBuiser bring more than $5 billion in combined healthcare transaction experience across 38 states and will lead a national investment sales team specializing in healthcare real estate, with a particular focus on outpatient medical office buildings (MOBs). The team's presence on both coasts will support clients nationwide, bringing together coast-to-coast reach and deep sector expertise. The addition extends Foundry's investment sales capabilities beyond its core Southeast and Texas markets while bringing deeper expertise in a sector that continues to attract institutional and private capital.

Massa brings nearly two decades of investment sales experience, including senior leadership roles with Colliers' Healthcare Investment Sales Group and Institutional Property Advisors, having advised on investment real estate transactions across markets nationwide. Massa earned his bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and holds both CCIM and SIOR designations.

DeBuiser brings more than a decade of commercial real estate investment experience, most recently serving as Senior Director of Investments with Marcus & Millichap. His expertise spans institutional investment sales and sale-leaseback transaction across markets nationwide. DeBuiser earned his bachelor's degree in real estate and finance from Sacramento State University.

"Joe and James are joining Foundry at an exciting time, both for our Nashville office and for the company as a whole," said Chris Neese, Nashville Market Leader for Foundry Commercial. "We've added 8 new brokers in Nashville just in the past year, creating opportunities to add new capabilities and expertise. Healthcare Capital Markets is a natural next step for Foundry, particularly as demographic shifts continue to drive demand for healthcare services and the real estate that supports them."

The new practice also complements Foundry's existing healthcare-related real estate platform, including senior living operations and management through affiliated company Allegro Living and the firm's growing senior living development business. With medical office properties demonstrating resilient fundamentals and sustained investor interest, Foundry sees significant opportunity to bring its advisory platform to an expanding healthcare real estate market.
