ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA - National speaker Molly Grantham will advise area business leaders, Winthrop University students and local community members about how "Practice Makes Progress" during a March 26 keynote presentation for the Whitton Executive Series. The 11 a.m. event will be held in Winthrop's Whitton Auditorium located inside Vivian Moore Carroll Hall.
In her "Practice Makes Progress" talk, Grantham will mix humor and sharp wit to motivate attendees to keep showing up, learning and betting on themselves. The presentation's title comes from her book on how to navigate being a working mother and is one of three books she has written about juggling her personal and professional life.
The former WBTV anchor and four-time Emmy-winning journalist left the news desk in 2024 after 25 years in TV news and 15,000+ interviews. She left at the peak of her career-#1-rated anchor in a top-20 U.S. market, doing 20 live shows a week-to reinvent her purpose and inspire others nationwide.
She's appeared on CNN, the Today Show and CBS programs, and connects with 200,000+ followers online. In late 2024, she launched the Bet On Yourself Summit, the first women's event held inside the Carolina Panthers' NFL stadium.
The March 26 event is free. Register to attend here.
