Marin County - Caltrans has scheduled lane closures for its Capital Preventive Maintenance project on Westbound and Eastbound State Route 37 (SR-37) in between Atherton Avenue and the Petaluma River Bridge in Novato for concrete barrier transition and road stabilization work.
One lane is scheduled to be closed on Eastbound SR-37 from Monday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 12 between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day.
One lane is scheduled to be closed on Westbound SR-37 from Monday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 12 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
Also, there is night work scheduled for road stabilization on Eastbound SR-37 between Novato Creek and Atherton Avenue from Monday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 12 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next mornings.
All construction Is weather dependent.
This capital maintenance pavement rehabilitation project involves paving and median barrier work in Novato. The project will grind and re-pave the roadway between the Ignacio overhead to the Petaluma River Bridge - a stretch of about three miles.
