Summit to Explore “Assembling the Policy Framework” for Renewable Fuels

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA - 2026 is bringing a lot of change to the renewable fuels world. Updated guidance on 45Z clean fuel tax credits, renewable fuels standard blending levels, and nationwide, year-round E15 are just some of the big topics where movement is expected in the next few weeks and months. At the Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit, policy experts will explore what a new policy framework means for biofuels.

Moderated by Iowa Renewable Fuels Association Executive Director Monte Shaw, the "Assembling the Policy Framework" panel will feature:

  • Scott Gerlt, Chief Economist, American Soybean Association
  • Troy Bredenkamp, Senior Vice President, Government & Public Affairs Renewable Fuels Association
  • Joe Jobe, CEO, Sustainable Advanced Biofuel Refiners
  • Matt Durand, Deputy Legal Counsel, National Association of Convenience Stores
