Traffic Advisory Near Hollywood Burbank Airport
Hollywood Burbank Airport [6/4/2026]: If you're coming to Hollywood Burbank Airport, expect potential traffic delays which may affect the time it takes to park, drop off or pick up passengers.
Starting Monday, June 8, there will be lane closures as part of intermittent construction on Hollywood Way between Tulare and Thornton Avenues.
The construction will take place Mondays through Saturdays and will include daytime and nighttime work.
Passengers can instead use the Empire Avenue entrance, or enter the airport westbound on Thornton Avenue.
The sidewalk and bike lane on the west side of Hollywood Way will remain closed between Winona and Thornton Avenues.
Construction is related to the new passenger terminal, scheduled to open October 2026. For more information on the project, visit elevatebur.com.
