Dallas ISD News: Dallas ISD alumni and Olympic Champion Sha'Carri Richardson hosts field day for student-athletes
In 2023, the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to name the track at the Jesse Owens Athletic Complex's John Kincaide Stadium the "Sha'Carri Richardson Track." On Nov. 10, 2023, the track officially received its name, coinciding with the City of Dallas' proclamation of Sha'Carri Richardson Day.
