ADVISORY - BUCKS COUNTY - Governor Shapiro to Sign Bell-to-Bell Cell Phone Ban in Schools, Ensuring Students Can Learn Without Distractions

Governor Josh Shapiro will visit Lenape Middle School to sign Senate Bill 1014 into law, officially prohibiting cell phone use from bell-to-bell in schools across Pennsylvania and ensuring our students can learn without distractions. The Governor will be joined by local elected officials and educators to mark this historic, bipartisan achievement.

During his Budget Address in February, Governor Shapiro called for a bell-to-bell ban, citing the importance of an uninterrupted school day where kids can be kids and teachers can help our students learn and grow.
