Stormwater Week

September 20-28 is Wisconsin Stormwater Week. The City of Middleton, Dane County, and the Madison Area Municipal Stormwater Partnership are celebrating all week long with clean-ups, hands-on workshops, and free lunchtime webinars. Together, we can protect Pheasant Branch, Lake Mendota, and waters across our region.

Sat, Sept. 20, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM
Yahara River Fall Clean-Up (Friends of Yahara River Headwaters). Meet at Veterans Memorial Park, DeForest. Refreshments provided.

Sun, Sept. 21, 2:00-4:00 PM
Native Garden Learning Hub: Rain Gardens & Downspout Gardens. Planting plans, resources, and expert design help. ($5; registration required.)

Sun, Sept. 28, 1:00-3:00 PM
Lake Wingra Community Bike/Run/Walk + Clean-Up. Learn along the route, collect trash, and help clear storm drains to keep our community clean. Bags and gloves provided. (Free.)
