Various overnight closures on 48th St. in Clay County for signage work, May 13-14

CLAY COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting various lane and ramp closures near Worlds of Fun in Clay County from Wednesday, May 13 at approximately 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, for signage work. All work is weather permitting.

See traffic modifications below:

  • 48th Street eastbound closed
  • 48th Street westbound one lane closed
  • Worlds of Fun Avenue to North Randolph Road (outer road) left lane closed

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
