The Defence Ministry of the Republic of Belarus is expanding its military cooperation with African states. A Rwandan military attaché has been accredited in Belarus for the first time.
During the meeting, the аcting head of the International Military Cooperation Department, Assistant to the Defence Minister for Foreign Military Policy Colonel Vitaly Poluyan and the Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Rwanda to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus (concurrently), Colonel Baguma Mpagaze Anthony, established working contacts and discussed prospects for cooperation between the defence ministries of the two countries.
The event was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda to the Russian Federation and to the Republic of Belarus (concurrently), who had recently taken part in the ceremony of presenting his credentials to the President of Belarus.
