Costumed interpreters will be stationed throughout the museum as part of Lifted Voices, a series of living history events that bring to life people and stories from Greensboro's past. Guests can take a tour through the museum galleries to meet actors portraying historic figures including Black Patriot Ishmael Titus, Suffragist Laura Weil Cone, and Trailblazing Councilwomen Katie Dorsett. Guided tours leave every 10-15 minutes from the museum lobby.
Lifted Voices is an ongoing series of living history programs that features influential residents from Greensboro's past. This is a free, family-friendly program and a wonderful opportunity to experience history in the first person.
