Expect Delays for Microsurface Paving in San Luis Obispo County

Motorists should expect some delays during October and November while the County of San Luis Obispo Public Works Department performs roadwork. Crews will have one-way traffic control and flagging in place at various work locations while the microsurface paving takes place.

Residents will be notified 72 hours prior to the work via door hangers in both English and Spanish. Temporary "No Parking" signs will give advanced warning of no parking on the day paving will take place.

On the day that microsurfacing paving takes place, there will be "No Parking" on that street. Driveway access will be restricted for a few hours until the product cures. Driveway access will be limited to emergency needs only.

Additionally, striping removal and temporary/permanent striping placement will occur through November with minimal delays.
