The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas has been advised by the Administrative Office of the United States Courts that, beginning on October 9, 2026, BAE Systems, the contractor responsible for servicing the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC), experienced a service disruption affecting the processing and delivery of electronic and paper bankruptcy notices nationwide.
During this disruption, the Court will continue to accept filings, open cases, and process documents according to standard procedures. However, there may be a delay in the entry and service of notices and orders from the Court as well as the service of 341 Notices until this matter is resolved.
Upon request of a party in interest, or on the Court's own initiative, the Court may extend or reset deadlines or continue hearings as it deems reasonable, necessary, and appropriate to address the BNC service interruption. Parties may request relief by written motion or orally at a scheduled hearing. Parties should confer when practicable and advise the Court whether the relief requested because of the BNC service interruption is agreed upon or opposed. All scheduled hearings shall proceed unless the Court orders otherwise.
The BNC disruption is also affecting CM/ECF users' access to the mailing matrix. Until resolved, CM/ECF users seeking to serve pleadings and delegated notices/orders may access the list of creditors and addresses within a case through the following process:
Accessing the List of Creditors:
Please note that the list of creditors does not include all interested parties to a case, such as the debtor(s), trustees, the U.S. Trustee, or U.S. Attorney. Therefore, parties and counsel should review service requirements to ensure that notice is provided to all appropriate parties, including those not listed on CM/ECF's list of creditors.
