You're invited: Looking to strengthen communication across difference? We'd love to have you join us.

Ralph Johnson, Assistant Director of Education and Development Programs in Michigan State University's Office of Inclusive Excellence and Impact

The Office of Equity is hosting a three-day series of discussions, presentations, and skill-building workshops focused on cross-cultural communication. Sessions are offered throughout each day Feb.17 - 19. Whether you can attend one session or all seven, you're welcome to join as your schedule allows.

The series features Ralph Johnson, a nationally recognized cross-cultural communication expert from Michigan State University, whose work centers on building understanding, navigating difference, and improving everyday communication.

What to expect:

  • Seven engaging sessions over three days
  • Practical tools and strategies you can use right away
  • Open, thoughtful conversation across perspectives
  • Free light lunch before noon sessions

Open to students, faculty, and staff, and no prior experience is needed - just curiosity and a willingness to engage.

We hope you'll join us for one session or many as we learn, practice, and build stronger connections together.
