AARP New Jersey, Saint Peter's to celebrate Walk with a Doc Anniversary
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (June 12, 2026) - Local health organizations are stepping up to celebrate a community wellness milestone this weekend.
AARP New Jersey, Saint Peter's University Hospital, and Healthier Middlesex will host a free public walking event on Saturday to mark the one-year anniversary of the New Brunswick Walk with a Doc chapter.
The event, which runs from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Buccleuch Park Pavilion, 321, Easton Ave., will be led by Dr. Nakul Rao, a physician and vascular surgeon with Saint Peter's University Hospital.
Open to all ages and abilities, the monthly program offers participants a chance to exercise, learn about wellbeing, and engage with healthcare providers in a relaxed environment.
The rain-or-shine celebration will feature light refreshments, community resources, and giveaways, including free T-shirts for participants who bring a friend.
