BOSTON -- Learning company HMH today announced that the Florida Department of Education has officially approved HMH math programs for the state's 2026-2027 K-12 Mathematics instructional materials adoption. The approved programs are Florida's B.E.S.T. Go Math! K-5, Florida's B.E.S.T. Into Math 6-8, Florida's B.E.S.T. Into Algebra 1 and Math 180.
Designed specifically for Florida classrooms, HMH's approved portfolio provides a connected pathway of high-quality instructional materials aligned to Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards, supporting students from foundational math through Algebra 1 and intensive intervention. Through integration with HMH's Waggle, Florida's B.E.S.T. Go Math! delivers personalized practice and adaptive learning experiences that help educators target instruction and support student growth. Together, the solutions create a single, coherent mathematics ecosystem that connects instruction, assessment, personalized practice and intervention to support student success at every stage.

The Florida Department of Education specifications state that approved materials must align to Florida's standards, benchmarks, clarifications and examples to be deemed acceptable for adoption. The adoption covers materials for use in classrooms during the 2027-2028 academic year and beyond.
HMH's approved Florida math programs include:
• Florida's B.E.S.T. Go Math! K-5: Comprehensive elementary math instruction designed to build foundational understanding and grade-level proficiency, with integrated access to HMH Waggle for personalized practice
• Florida's B.E.S.T. Go Math! Accelerated 3-4: Accelerated elementary math instruction that compacts Grades 3-5 benchmarks to prepare students for advanced mathematics pathways.
• Florida's B.E.S.T. Into Math 6-8: Middle school math instruction that supports conceptual understanding, procedural fluency and meaningful application.
• Florida's B.E.S.T. Into Math Accelerated 6-7: Accelerated middle school math instruction that compacts advanced grade-level content to support readiness for Algebra 1 and beyond.
• Florida's B.E.S.T. Into Algebra 1: Algebra 1 instruction that builds conceptual understanding before procedures and emphasizes connections between concepts and skills.
• Math 180: Intensive math intervention for students in Grades 3-8 who are one or more years below grade level, supporting essential math understanding, algebra readiness and confidence.
