October 2, 2026 - New York, NY / Atlanta, GA - The Paradox release their new six-song EP, Proceed With Caution, today via Hundred Days Records, arriving at the end of a whirlwind year that has seen the Atlanta four-piece make Billboard history, reach millions online and turn that rapidly growing audience into nationwide demand. The project features the previously released " I Kinda Like That ," " That's Not Fair " and " Good For Me ," alongside "Living Hell," "Stoner Mentality" and "It's Over." It arrives as the band prepares for their first national headline tour, now sold out across all 21 dates, including two nights each in New York and Los Angeles.

Despite its title, there is nothing tentative about Proceed With Caution. Across six songs, Eric Dangerfield (vocals/guitar), Christopher "Xelan" Bernard (lead guitar/vocals), Donald Bryant (bass) and Percy "PC3" Crews (drums) stretch the sound that first drew millions to the band. "I Kinda Like That" opens the EP with towering hooks and live-wire energy. "That's Not Fair," inspired sonically by the Ramones, turns toward the urgent, stripped-back spirit of early punk; the band first previewed it during a performance on Kai Cenat's livestream. "Good For Me," the EP's first single, drew more than 4 million combined views for its teaser content across Instagram and TikTok before release. "Living Hell," "Stoner Mentality" and closer "It's Over" round out the project, widening the picture of a band moving freely through its influences.
Proceed With Caution arrives after a year in which The Paradox have repeatedly pushed beyond what seemed possible for a band that formed only two summers ago. Earlier this year, " Get The Message " made them the first all-Black band to reach No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart. They made their NPR Tiny Desk debut for Black Music Month and were selected for YouTube Music's Foundry Class of 2026 . On Kai Cenat's 24-hour livestream, they turned a packed room into a rock show, previewed "That's Not Fair" and pulled Kai into the performance, with the streamer jokingly declaring himself the band's fifth member.
The audience around them has grown just as quickly. Formed in Atlanta in the summer of 2024, The Paradox have already built an audience of more than 3.3 million followers across platforms. Billie Joe Armstrong personally invited them to open for Green Day at a stadium show; Travis Barker joined them on " Bender" ; and Jack White, SZA, Kid Cudi and LeBron James are among the artists and cultural figures who have publicly championed the group. A teaser for "I Kinda Like That" generated more than 3.3 million TikTok views and 2 million Instagram views, drawing comments and reposts from Tyla, Joe Jonas and Normani.
Now, that momentum is carrying into their first national headline tour. All 21 shows have sold out ahead of the October 14 kickoff in Dallas, with the run ending November 18 in their hometown of Atlanta.
With Proceed With Caution, The Paradox now have the music to meet the size of the moment around them.
