The National Park Service has determined that prescribed fire activities within Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore will be postponed until spring of 2027. This decision was made after careful evaluation of conditions and personnel limitations.
Updates regarding prescribed fire plans for spring 2027 will be shared as they are available.
