Wettach, Terrell, and Bohannan Silent in the Face of Hate

Wettach, Terrell, and Bohannan Silent in the Face of Hate

September 13, 2025

The Johnson County chair is putting politics above basic humanity; and Democrats in Iowa's First Congressional District have been silent.

The Johnson County chair attacked Charlie Kirk's legacy in a social post announcing he would defy Governor Reynold's order to lower flags in Kirk's memory.

Even Democratic Senate Candidate Zach Wahls condemned these actions, but Taylor Wettach, Travis Terrell, and Christina Bohannan have stayed silent.

This is today's Democrat Party: Only 38% of Democrats believe it is always unacceptable to feel joy at the death of someone they oppose.

"If Taylor Wettach, Travis Terrell, and Christina Bohannan can't even bring themselves to condemn mocking the assassination of an American, it tells you everything you need to know about their values." - NRCC Spokeswoman Emily Tuttle
