Reba McEntire Revealed The Clever Way She Pranks Fiancé Rex Linn Around Halloween

Reba McEntire 's fiancé has tried to prank the country star around Halloween, but she has a way of getting the last laugh.

McEntire, 71, spoke about Halloween during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. She said she loves "to decorate the house with candles," paired with skeletons and "all the other weird stuff" her fiancé, actor Rex Linn, 69, likes to use as decorations.

"He is an arachnophobic. He does not like spiders," McEntire told Jennifer Hudson. "So, he thinks it's funny to put like a dead rat or a spider underneath your pillow. So, what I'll do, I'll go in there and I'll take it out from under my pillow and I'll put it under his pillow. He forgets! He forgets he did it, and then when he pulls back the cover, [he sees it] and it scares him to pieces. I just think it's the funniest thing in the world. And I'll put it up in the cupboard where he goes to put his coffee cup, or on top of his briefcase. And it's just like he hasn't seen that spider before. I don't get it."

McEntire went on to share, "I love it [when people dress like her for Halloween]. Especially the little kids. …I think that's a huge compliment."

The "Fancy" hitmaker and her fiancé previously dressed in Beetlejuice-inspired Halloween costumes when they appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2024. McEntire, dressed as Delia Deetz, refused to kiss Linn in his nearly-unrecognizable janitor look.
